Q:If I was travelling and I had a stable macular degenerative disease in my eye, my optomoligist said that I am good for Oct 2026 for annual check, however during my travel I noticed flashes and floators and I needed to see an optomoligist and they said I need to get laser treatement ASAP to stop retina bleedsing. Would this be considered a covered pre-existing condition if I purchased a pre-existing condition waiver.

An "Acute Onset of a Pre-Existing Condition" is a sudden and unexpected outbreak or recurrence of a Pre-Existing Condition(s) which occurs spontaneously and without advance warning either in the form of Physician recommendations or symptoms, is of short duration, is rapidly progressive, and requires immediate care.
